Zoraida Cordova Likes Books

I write books about merdudes.

Starters - Lissa Price Well paced and surprising, it might just make a dystopian fan out of me.

I can't imagine having to go through this world. But it's about family love and survival. What's more real than that?
Companions of the Night - Vivian Vande Velde I loved this book in my teens!
Catching Jordan - Miranda Kenneally Catching Jordan had me up all night. Literally. I started it at nearly 2AM and didn't stop reading till the very end.

I love this take on the strong girl who doesn't think she can have it all, a career in football, and a romantic life. So she picks football. It's a discovery of sexuality and confidence that comes to some girls a little late. The characters are lively and so cool, I wish I'd had these boys in my high school growing up.

Beware: swoon worthy kissing <3
Bad Taste in Boys - Carrie Harris Such a fun read! Kate is smart, witty, an everything you want in a high school science genius/kick-butt zombie fighter!
Anna Dressed in Blood - Kendare Blake I love Cas. That is all <3
Wildefire - Karsten Knight Being a little brown girl, I love reading about little brown girls. This book kicks ass, taking sibling rivalry and ancient gods to a whole new level.
Are You Going to Kiss Me Now? - Sloane Tanen This book is hilarious!
Darker Still - Leanna Renee Hieber This book transports you to NYC of old. It is romantic, clever, funny, and dark. Fall in love with a new kind of heroine and her leading man.
Aluminum Times - John Olivares Espinoza love it all.
