I write books about merdudes.
The entire book I kept thinking, "what if that were me?" But that's what a good book makes us wonder, right? What if that were me?
Dreamland Social Club is the perfect mix of local history and fantasy. I could smell and taste Coney Island in an entirely new way. Even recognized some of the Anchor/Rudy references. Because of the great caste of fully developed characters and a sweet love story that pulls at the heart strings, I'm still sighing over the end.
